The first ever Machine Tool Connect is being launched by the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA). IMTMA is committed to bringing technologies to the regional parts of western India through their latest offering, the MTX Connect 2023- Kolhapur. The two-day B2B expo aims to offer a platform for connecting machine tool builders with potential user industries. The areas of focus for the MTX Connect 2023- Kolhapur would be machine tools, digital manufacturing, laser technologies, tooling and metrology. Footfall is expected from industries such as the foundry and forging, die-mould, engineering goods and industrial equipment to name a few.

The Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) was formed in 1946 and is the apex industry body for the Indian machine tool industry. IMTMA aims to support the Indian machine tool industries in their overall growth and advancement through various advocacy measures. The association has provided continued support to the development and progress of the Indian metalworking manufacturing industry. The association is credited with being at the forefront of the skill development scene in India. It aims to advance skill development through its technology centres in Bengaluru, Pune and Gurugram. A state-of-the-art exhibition venue, the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), has been established by IMTMA. The IMTMA has successful events such as the IMTEX to their credit. IMTEX is a flagship show of IMTMA and is considered to be a leading global exhibition for machine tools.
