Latest Approval Reinforces OEM’s trust in the Fluid’s Performance in Demanding Aerospace Machining Applications

Quaker Houghton (NYSE: KWR), the global leader in industrial process fluids, announced that its HOCUT® 4260 metalworking soluble coolant has received Boeing BAC 5008 approval.

The approval further establishes HOCUT® 4260 as a qualified fluid for demanding aerospace manufacturing applications. Boeing joins Airbus, BAE Systems, Bombardier, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce and Safran among the aerospace organizations that have approved the product.

HOCUT® 4260 is a heavy-duty, boron-free and formaldehyde-free metalworking fluid developed for aerospace materials. It is suitable for machining 2000- and 7000-series aluminum alloys, fiber composites, titanium alloys, high-alloy steel, stainless steel and other high-temperature alloys.
